Barilla - Pate Linguini - 500 g
Barilla - Linguini Pasta - 500g
Until the mid-fifties, Italian pasta was divided between pasta of Neapolitan origin and pasta made in Genoa, the great port of northern Italy. Barilla, Italy's No. 1 pasta company, has given ‘Linguine’ its Italian connotation, with a pasta model that is appreciated the world over for its ability to go well with vegetable sauces, fish and all the ingredients of the Mediterranean culinary tradition.
- Barilla La Collezione Linguine are a slightly original version of spaghetti.
- Flat and slightly convex in shape, they are particularly well suited to long durum wheat semolina pasta, where they bring out the flavour of the sauces they ‘enclose’ to bring out the full variety of flavours on the palate.
- Even with light, delicate sauces, they retain their al dente cooking properties.
How to use them
- Particularly tasty, they can be served simply with a knob of butter. However, Barilla La Collezione Linguine go well with the traditional taste of ‘Pesto alla Genovese’.
- If you like the flavours of the sea, Barilla suggests Linguine with a spinach, tomato and mussel sauce, flavoured with a clove of garlic.
- If you prefer the more intense flavours of traditional Italian cuisine, simply add white beans to Barilla's Arrabbiata sauce, made with tomatoes, garlic, oil, pecorino (sheep's milk cheese) and chilli pepper, to make an original dish that's guaranteed to be a hit.
A success that only authentic Italian pasta can offer. With Barilla, Italy is always present at your table.
