Kronenbourg 1664 is a pale ale with a noble history, characterised by its fine taste. Its golden hues and delicate bitterness come from the selection of the best hops (Strisselspalt), and the unique know-how of one of France's master brewers, for over 350 years.
Tasting notes:
- Head: Quite dense with fine bubbles. Long life. Creamy white colour.
- Colour: Fairly pale yellow. Opalescent.
- Nose: Sustained intensity. Dominant hop and malt aromas. Citrus aromas. Liquorice and preserved lemon.
- Palate: Well-balanced with a slight bitterness.
- Texture: Smooth and round. Slightly sparkling with small bubbles.
- Finish: Persistent fruity aroma, with notes of citrus peel and spices.
